Congraulations to Hostos-Lincoln Academy of Science and Medgar Evers College Preparatory School. The schools ranked No. 15 and No. 35 respectively, based on factors like how well the schools serve all of their students and how far they go in preparing their students for college-level work.

Bard High School Early College received an honorable mention from the magazine.

Our team has been privileged to visit Bard's campus in Queens. We also had the privilege last spring of bringing students from Bard and Medgar Evers to Albany, where they spoke with their legislators and advocated for the state's early college high school initiative.

On that day, we heard students describe their schools and their educators: challenging, supportive, life-changing. Today we're glad to see them recognized for their achievements.
